Training of grenadiers and reserve machine gunners carried on; also wire-breaking practice and digging, largely on fire-trenches of our sector.

Captain A. Caldicot (2nd in command ‘B’ Company) was evacuated sick on the 13th (December) and proceeded to England.

Colonel W. Dennys (Commanding Officer), proceeded to England on 17th (December) under orders from the War Office.

Second Lieutenant’s A. D. Teasdale; and T. T. Wren joined on 8th (December); and Second Lieutenant E. C. Wooley joined on 19th (December).
