This photo is of 215234 William Green who enlisted on 12 November 1912 and was discharged due to sickness on 08 May 1919. William received the British War Medal and Victory Medal meaning he did not go overseas prior to January 1916.

William also spent time in the Liverpool Regiment, his number being 265994.

William died on 24 May 1956 in Barrow-in-Furness, he was 72 years old and had retired from working at a gas works.
