    My Uncle Private Hugh Carnegie was in the 7th Btn Preston Pals and died whilst in battle, he is remembered on my grandparents headstone in Preston Cemetery, their name was Hugh (Will Onda) and Margaret Rain. My name is Carol Dickinson (nee Rain).
